Pet memorial urns

A portrait relief of the friend who never left your side

The same craft Tazbear brings to human remembrance, for the animals we love. One clear photograph becomes a portrait relief — your pet's face raised gently from the surface of the urn, shaped to catch the light and meet the hand.

Any pet, from a single photograph

Dogs, cats, birds, horses — if you have a clear photograph, we can raise it in relief. A well lit, front facing photo with the face unobstructed produces the finest result, just as it does for a person. You place, scale, and preview the portrait yourself in the designer before anything is made.

Each urn is made when you order it, in the Wood Series (Willow, Walnut, and Driftwood) or the Copper Series, and you are not charged until you approve the model of your urn.

Choosing a size for your pet

Every animal is different, and no formula predicts the volume of cremated remains well — so start from what the urn will hold:

  • Mini Keepsake (3–5 cubic inches, about a 2.1″ cube) — a symbolic portion of remains, a tuft of fur, or soil from a favorite place.
  • Keepsake (10–15 cubic inches, about a 2.75″ cube) — a meaningful shared portion of your pet's remains.
  • Larger sizes — every Tazbear urn can be custom-sized in the designer, up to the Full Size urn (200–220 cubic inches), for a complete set of remains.

Unsure? See Tazbear sizes at a glance in the FAQ, or just ask — a licensed funeral director answers every message at Chris@tazbear.com.
