Who we are

Tazbear is operated by Christopher Tasber, a licensed funeral director, in Rochester, New York. You can reach us any time at Chris@tazbear.com or (585) 629-8406.

Your photographs

The photograph you upload is used for one purpose: to create your relief and fulfill your order. It is attached to your order record so the piece can be produced and checked against what you approved.

We do not sell your photographs. We do not share them with anyone outside the people and services needed to make and ship your order. We do not use them in advertising, on this site, or on social media, and we do not use them to train any model, unless you tell us in writing that we may.

If you would like your photograph deleted after your order arrives, email us and we will remove it.

What else we collect

• Order and contact details — your name, email address, shipping address, and phone number, collected when you check out.
• Account details — if you sign in, we store your email address, the times you signed in, and the contents of your saved cart, so your designs are still there when you come back.
• Your design — the size, finish, inscription, and relief settings you chose, kept with your order.

We never see or store your payment card details. Payment is handled entirely by Shopify, our checkout provider.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers, and only for the work of running the shop:

• Shopify — checkout, payment processing, order records, and storage of the photograph attached to your order.
• Resend — sending transactional email, such as your sign-in link and order correspondence.
• Railway — hosting for this website.

We also share your shipping address with the carrier delivering your order. Beyond that, we disclose personal information only if the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This site runs no advertising trackers, no analytics scripts, and no third-party marketing pixels. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

We use browser storage for two practical things: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and local storage on your own device that holds an in-progress design and your cart so you do not lose your work. Clearing your browser storage removes the latter.

How long we keep things

Order records are kept as long as we need them for business and tax purposes. Photographs are kept with the order record so we can reproduce or repair a piece, and are deleted on request. Sign-in links expire shortly after they are issued, and sessions expire on their own.

Your choices

Email Chris@tazbear.com and we will provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete your account, saved cart, and photographs. A licensed funeral director answers personally, and there is no form to fill out.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging memorial products and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes
